Dreading getting my electric bill - the A/C has been running every day. I turn it off at night to save money.

I'm sure I heard this somewhere reliable... but isn't it more efficient to just turn the temp up instead of turning the air off...
Anyway... we have three window air cons in our house right now... and they have been running non-stop too, so you're definitely not in that boat alone...

tips for getting thru the humidity:
1) go to store by sprinkler
2) go home & hook up sprinkler
3) put bathing suit, t-shirt/shorts on, whatever
4) run thru sprinkler
5) repeat tip 4 as needed
sorry loo, the only way to help get thru this heat is have fun in the water :) hang in there!
