I have that parent meeting this morning regarding the problem student - see below post.

Good luck with that, Lori! Hopefully the parents will see things your way and work with you to help their kid! :) Don't forget to let us know how it goes!
I hope all goes well in the meeting. I can't believe how this kids mother defends him like that. Maybe she should home school him herself and see what it's like to teach someone who cannot follow rules.It's not like any of the teachers are picking on this kid. He is old enough to know right from wrong. This kid and his mother act like the no ipod rule is only set up for him. Sounds like the mother and son should be riding the short bus to school. I had to make you laugh on that one Lori!
