My friend Lea had to put down her dog today. She's very sad but knew that it was time.

Lea - you did the right thing - Gunther isn't suffering anymore.

PS I thought I had picture of Gunther but I don't - So, I've posted this picture of Lea when she came out last April for a visit. The Salty Dog is a restaurant in Boston near Faneuil Hall.

So sad to hear about Lea's loss... I had to put down one of our dogs (she was over 16 and really bad) last year and then our other dog disappeared... its so hard... they really are a part of the family.
Take care Lea, even when you know it can't be avoided, it doesn't make the pain any less.
I'm so sorry about Lea's baby. That's terrible. Hugs to her...i know it's hard to lose a furry baby
